The Compromís candidate for mayor of Valencia held her first meeting this Monday with the municipal group at the city hall after being appointed head of the list.

According to a statement from the political group, the candidate expressed her intention to attend coordination meetings and group activities. She will balance this work with her professional practice as a lawyer, as she is not currently working full-time for the city council.
During the meeting, strategic issues for the city were discussed, such as the management of municipal markets and the implementation of measures to combat climate change in the urban environment.
Prior to the meeting, the coalition representative participated in a minute of silence held in front of the city hall to condemn the sexist murders that occurred last week in the rural area of Cañada de El Fenollar, in Alicante. She also attended a protest organized by the Students' Union.
