The Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània has scheduled a new edition of its outdoor cinema cycle, which will offer 27 comedies from the American continent in its Gothic cloister.

The program, titled Embriagados de humor, will take place from July 31 to August 30, 2026. The cycle includes a selection of films ranging from silent cinema classics to recent productions, with 15 titles being shown commercially for the first time in Spain.
Sessions will take place from Tuesday to Sunday at 10:00 PM. Access will be completely free until full capacity is reached, with no prior reservation required. All films will be screened in their original version to enhance the cinematic experience in the Carmen neighborhood.
Among the highlights, the opening session will feature a director presenting their restored work. Additionally, the cycle will include a silent film session with live musical accompaniment and a special screening coinciding with the solar eclipse on August 12.
