The Castellón Provincial Council has approved the allocation of nine grants totaling €400,000 to inter-municipal associations and consortia to boost the province's tourism offerings.

These subsidies, managed by the Provincial Tourism Board, aim to enrich the tourist proposition and establish Castellón as an attractive destination throughout the year. The President of the Provincial Council, Marta Barrachina, highlighted the provincial government's efforts to promote the sector in collaboration with supramunicipal entities.
Barrachina emphasized that the aid seeks to promote supramunicipal programs, activities, and events that enhance tourist appeal, attract visitors, and boost local offerings. She underscored the strategic role of tourism as a driver of development and advocated for a competitive model that generates wealth for the province.
Tourism is a key economic engine for Castellón, and the Provincial Council continues to provide resources to supramunicipal entities to foster new opportunities. Barrachina noted the importance of equipping these bodies with the necessary tools.

These objectives align with the Tourism Board's strategic plan to disseminate the province's tourist resources and promote the territory nationally and internationally.
