The event, organized by the Atletismo Promesas Villena Club with the collaboration of the Sports Councilor, Maite Gandía, marks the beginning of the festive atmosphere preceding the Moors and Christians Festivals. Approximately 300 minors are expected to participate in the children's categories.
The seven-kilometer main competition will consist of two and a half laps of an urban circuit with the start and finish line at Plaza María Auxiliadora. The route includes streets such as Avenida de la Constitución, C/ Joaquín Mª López, C/ Corredera, and Plaza del Rollo.
The organization has arranged a liquid refreshment point midway through the race, and liquid and solid refreshments at the finish line. Additionally, participants will receive a runner's bag with sponsor gifts and a commemorative medal.
Safety and health services will be ensured through the collaboration of Civil Protection, the Local Police, and the Red Cross, who will set up aid stations with volunteers, nurses, and a doctor.
