The project, funded by Next Generation European funds, has concluded this year with the execution of seven strategic actions. The central axis is the Camins dels Càtars route, which runs through the municipalities of Albocàsser, Benassal, Catí, Culla, la Torre d’en Besora, la Serratella, Tírig, and Vilar de Canes.
The initiative seeks to transform historical heritage into a resource for economic development. Improvements include the creation of a network of viewpoints, the installation of charging points for electric bicycles, and the implementation of virtual reality tools in spaces such as Sant Pau de Albocàsser.
In addition to the route, the plan has included energy efficiency actions, such as the renovation of public lighting in various towns and the adaptation of the interpretation center of the El Rivet natural site in Benassal.
