The Ibi City Council and the Festival Commission have proposed changing the date of a demonstration called in support of Ceuta.

The Ibi City Council and the Commission of Fiestas de Moros y Cristianos have issued a statement addressed to the public and the entities promoting a demonstration called in support of Ceuta. The aim is to reconcile the development of this demonstration with the Lighting Ceremony event, which marks the official start of the town's Major Festivals.
With respect for freedom of expression and assembly, it is proposed to move the demonstration to September 3rd, at 8:00 PM, at the City Hall entrance. This way, it is intended to allow for the normal and safe development of both the demonstration and the Lighting Ceremony.
