Alcoy City Council has approved an extraordinary allocation of 5,000 euros to support humanitarian aid in Venezuela, through collaboration with the Red Cross.

This financial contribution, which has been articulated through the International Cooperation budget line, aims primarily to strengthen assistance and emergency tasks on the ground. The goal is to reach the population in the most vulnerable situations.
The management of the funds will be carried out by the Red Cross, an organization with a consolidated track record in the field of cooperation and humanitarian assistance on a global scale.

"From the Alcoy City Council, we are going to allocate an extraordinary aid to address the humanitarian situation in Venezuela. An aid that will be channeled through the Red Cross.
