The start of the week in the Valencian Community is characterized by little cloud cover or completely clear skies. Minimum temperatures will remain practically unchanged, while maximums will see an increase. The wind will be light and variable, turning to an easterly component at midday and with moderate intervals in the afternoon.
For this Tuesday, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts that the same stable weather situation will continue, with little cloud cover or clear skies throughout the territory and no precipitation expected. Minimum temperatures will rise slightly in the northern half and inland areas, while in the rest, there will be no significant changes.
Maximum temperatures will show a more pronounced increase in the southern half and the northern interior, where the atmosphere will be warmer. In other areas, maximums will also remain high with more moderate variations. The wind, light in the morning, will tend towards an east and south component from midday onwards, with possible moderate gusts in the afternoon, especially along the coast.
In the last 24 hours, the provincial capitals have recorded high values. Castellón reached a maximum of 30.7 degrees and a minimum of 19.2. Valencia recorded a maximum of 29.7 degrees and a minimum of 20.4. Alicante was the hottest, with a maximum of 38.2 degrees and a minimum of 26.6.
Regarding the maritime forecast, stability is expected, although winds could strengthen slightly in the afternoon, particularly off the coast of Castellón. In this area, south winds will increase to force 3-4, with a choppy sea. Off Valencia, westerly winds (force 3-4) could cause local chop and occasional moderate swell. In Alicante, east and northeast winds (force 2-3) will keep the sea choppy.
