The beginning of September in the Valencian Community presents cloudy skies in numerous areas, maximum temperatures falling or stable, and a low probability of weak and scattered rains. These precipitations could bring mud, particularly to the southern half of the territory.
According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), the wind on this Tuesday will be light and variable in direction in the early and late hours. During the central hours of the day, it will turn to an easterly component, potentially reaching moderate intervals on the southern Alicante coast in the afternoon.
For Wednesday, Aemet forecasts generally little cloudy weather in the Valencian Community. However, there will be intervals of low clouds in some coastal areas and diurnal evolution cloudiness in the interior of Castellón. In this inland area, there is a probability of showers accompanied by thunderstorms during the afternoon, which could be local and short-lived, but with possible intensity in specific spots.
Minimum temperatures will experience slight changes, both rising and falling, depending on the regions. In contrast, maximums will tend to rise, with a milder increase in coastal areas. The wind will remain light and variable for most of the day, with the easterly component prevailing again around midday, especially on the coast.
The three provincial capitals have recorded warm values in the last 24 hours. In Castellón, the maximum was 30.3 degrees and the minimum 23.4. In Valencia city, the maximum reached 30.1 degrees, with a nighttime minimum of 24.4 degrees, confirming warm nights. Alicante registered a maximum of 30.7 degrees and a minimum of 23.9. All three cities have experienced tropical nights, with minimums above 20 degrees.
Regarding the maritime forecast, easterly winds of force 2 to 3 are expected in the coastal waters of Castellón and Valencia, with a slight sea state. On the Alicante coast, the wind will blow from the northeast with force 3 to 4, with a moderate sea state expected, suitable for recreational navigation.
