Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) has begun the development of the SiIV_360º system, which will enhance traveler information on Metrovalencia and TRAM d'Alacant, with an investment of nearly 2 million euros.

Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) has awarded the contract for the implementation of a new Traveler Information and Content Management System, named SiIV_360º, which will initially be incorporated into Metrovalencia and later into TRAM d’Alacant. The company Inetum España has been awarded the contract for an amount of 1,925,825.90 euros, VAT included.
The main objective of the project is to implement a system that allows for real-time information about the transport service to be offered from any device or channel, such as information displays, digital signage, web, or mobile applications. The management of this information will be centralized from the control centers integrated into the Command Posts of València Sud and La Marina.
The new system will unify the management of content from various active systems, including information displays, public address systems, intercoms, closed-circuit television (CCTV), digital signage, onboard equipment in mobile units, social networks, and web applications. In parallel, the renewal, expansion, and installation of new information displays and other traveler information supports are planned for stations, stops, and rolling stock.
This traveler information system is a key component for FGV's communication and customer service strategy, and is part of the improvements included in FGV's 2026-2030 Action Plan. Its implementation aims to update current devices to enhance information quality and meet the expectations of users on the metro and tram network.
SiIV_360º will replace the current fragmented management with a centralized platform capable of integrating information from service planning, circulation, incidents, facility status, and dissemination systems. This will allow travelers to access updated and consistent information from any FGV communication channel, improving the travel experience and streamlining communication during incidents.
The contract also includes the integration of current systems into a single technological solution for more agile management. Prior to deployment, an audit of the current system and an inventory of existing equipment will be carried out. Subsequently, a training plan for the involved personnel will be defined once the system implementation is complete, along with its maintenance for a period of 10 years.
