Alicante Tram served 1.7 million users in July

The city's public transport saw a slight decrease of 2.48% compared to the previous year, with Friday the 3rd being the busiest day.

The Alicante Tram transported 1,702,202 users during July, a figure representing a 2.48% decrease compared to the same period last year.

The TRAM de Alicante public transport network, comprising four tram lines, one train-TRAM, and one conventional train line, recorded a total of 1,702,202 users in July. Friday, July 3rd, was the busiest day, with 60,539 passengers.
Overall, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) registered 8,381,545 movements between the Alicante Tram and Metrovalencia, which accounted for 6,679,343 passengers.
By line, Line 2 (Luceros-San Vicent del Raspeig) was the most in-demand with 607,768 users. It was followed by Line 1 (Luceros-Benidorm) with 370,570, Line 3 (Luceros-El Campello) with 264,163, Line 4 (Luceros-Plaza La Coruña) with 203,302, Line 9 (Benidorm-Dénia) with 155,726, and Line 5 (Puerta del Mar-Plaza La Coruña) with 100,673.
Regarding stations, Luceros was the busiest with 285,394 passengers, followed by Mercado with 180,637. Benidorm recorded 105,285 users, Marq-Castillo 95,225, and Sant Vicent del Raspeig 79,147.
Continuing the station ranking, El Campello saw 50,760 movements, Pintor Gastón Castelló 49,210, Garbinet 45,170, Bulevar del Plá 41,615, and Goteta-Plaza Mar 2 closed the top ten with 40,863.
