This initiative, aimed at encouraging collective and sustainable travel, extends to all regional transport services managed by the Generalitat Valenciana. The goal is to encourage citizens to use public and environmentally friendly transport options, aligning with the European campaign 'Mobility for all people'.
On September 22, the validation machines on the Alicante Tram, both at stations and on board vehicles, will be deactivated. Ticket vending machines will indicate the service is free, allowing the purchase of valid passes, excluding single, round-trip, and metropolitan tickets. This free service will also apply to the Castellón Tram and Metrobús buses.
The Generalitat continues to offer other discounts, such as free travel for children under 14 and residents of areas heavily affected by recent floods. Additionally, a 40% reduction is available on season tickets and multi-trip passes for other users, with discounts of up to 50% on monthly passes for those under 31 using the Móbilis 30 card.
