The amount allocated to Petrer's sports entities aims to support their ordinary activities, promote federated sports practice, and co-finance projects benefiting hundreds of athletes of all ages. The deadline for sports clubs and entities to submit applications will be open from September 1st to 15th.
Furthermore, a budget of 16,000 euros has been approved for the Associations of Student Families (AFAS) and the Associations of Mothers and Fathers of Students (AMPAS) of the municipality's educational centers. These grants will be used to co-finance educational, cultural, and complementary activities organized by the associations throughout the school year, contributing to enriching the life of the centers and fostering family participation. The application deadline in this case will end on October 2nd.
The Councilor for Sports and Education, Patricia Martínez, highlighted the municipal commitment to local associationism, recognizing the fundamental role of sports entities and AFAS/AMPAS. Martínez emphasized the dedication of the individuals involved in these groups to carry out activities and projects that positively impact the municipality's children, youth, and families.
The councilor added that the City Council aims to support this work and contribute to the growth of these entities, generating opportunities and making Petrer a more active, participatory municipality committed to sports and education. Through these subsidy lines, the promotion of sports practice, healthy habits, and family participation in educational centers continues to be supported.
