Over the past few weeks, various repair, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and renovation works have been carried out in the schools of Jorge Juan, Gómez Navarro, Jesús Navarro, Alfonso X el Sabio, Carmen Valero, Sánchez Albornoz, and Ramona Simón. These interventions aim to ensure that the facilities are in the best condition for the students' return.
Among the improvements made are the repair of blinds and door handles, replacement of blackboards, and painting work in the Sánchez Albornoz, Jesús Navarro, and Alfonso X el Sabio schools. At the Jorge Juan school, a general supply pipe was replaced due to a rupture, while at Gómez Navarro, repairs were made to tiled skirting boards, blinds, and interventions were carried out in its greenhouse and playground.
The Gardening brigades have also worked on pruning trees, clearing weeds and fallen leaves, as well as shaping hedges. Additionally, dry shrubs and trees have been removed, and school gardens have been tilled.
“"These actions allow us to address the needs of the centers and resolve the minor incidents that occur in the facilities."
The Councilor for City Maintenance, José María Chacón, emphasized that the goal is for the educational centers to be in the best condition for the students and thanked the municipal brigades for their work.
