The intervention has allowed for the recovery of this underground structure through an integral process that included specialized cleaning of the vaults and structural consolidation of the galleries. In addition, improvements were made to the access points and pavement to ensure safety and accessibility for all visitors.
The new museum space features information panels, technical diagrams, and interactive resources that explain the city's historical context during the period of conflict. The goal is to offer a pedagogical experience that promotes values of peace and coexistence, serving as a living classroom on collective memory.
