The Aspe City Council has finalized the selection process to incorporate 15 new officers into the Local Police, significantly strengthening the force and responding to the needs of the municipal security service.

The City Council has carried out all necessary procedures to accumulate vacancies, managing to offer a total of 15 positions. Of these, 13 candidates are entering through the open competition as probationary civil servants, while two are transferring from the mobility turn and joining directly as career civil servants.
The 13 open competition candidates, after successfully passing the opposition phase, must now complete a mandatory selection course at the Valencian Institute of Public Safety and Emergencies (IVASPE). Subsequently, they will undertake a practical training period serving in Aspe before their final appointment.
The selection process, which took place between mid-June and early August, generated significant interest, attracting nearly 400 applicants. Of these, 32 passed all the demanding tests, and the 15 positions have been awarded strictly based on final qualification order.
With these new additions, the Aspe City Council continues its strategy of strengthening the Local Police. The increase in human resources will directly benefit citizen safety, road safety, and daily attention to residents.
