The Paiporta Municipal Women's Council has held a session to coordinate equality and gender violence prevention actions, with a focus on the upcoming November 25th program.

Representatives from women's associations, including the Association of Migrant and Lacemaker Women, alongside municipal officials and equality technicians, met in the Plenary Hall of the Paiporta City Council. The meeting served to report on recent activities, introduce new resources, and advance the municipal program for November 25th, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
Chaired by the Councilor for Social Welfare, Equality, and Public Health, Mª Jesús López, and the Councilor for Education, Olga Sandrós, the session allowed participants to learn about available municipal services and propose initiatives to further equality and the protection of women and girls.
Among the topics discussed was the organization of the VI March of Towns against Machista Violence, which will bring together municipalities from L'Horta Sud in Paiporta on November 25th. The marches will conclude at Plaça 3 d’Abril with an institutional event, manifesto reading, and participation from local and regional associations.
The Equality department highlighted the current network of municipal resources, including free counseling for women, the Local Police's Temis Unit, specialized psychological support for gender violence from Social Welfare, awareness and prevention workshops for various ages and educational centers, the Contexto Program, and Well-being and Calm psychology workshops. New initiatives are being incorporated to expand attention, awareness, and visibility of equality and violence prevention.
