The signatory entities express deep concern over the current coverage, which only meets 50% of the daily need, leaving citizens unprotected for 12 hours each day. They consider that ensuring effective and equitable emergency assistance is a direct responsibility of the Ministry.
As an urgent measure, the formal implementation and provision of a Basic Life Support (SVB) ambulance service offering uninterrupted 24-hour coverage has been requested. Furthermore, they ask for the adoption of necessary technical, operational, and budgetary measures to align healthcare resources with the actual needs of Aspe's population.
The City Council had previously communicated the need for a solution to this issue on several occasions in recent months. With this new joint action, the council and worker representatives emphasize the regional administration's responsibility to provide Aspe with the essential means to guarantee the health and safety of its inhabitants.
