The Plenary Session of the Elda City Council today unanimously approved the Horizontal Professional Career and Performance Evaluation Regulations, a key tool for modernizing municipal administration.

The document, the result of two years of work, aims to improve the performance and recognize the professional development of the Elda City Council's civil servants. The new regulations intend to provide Elda with a more effective and efficient municipal administration for all citizens.
The Councilor for Human Resources, Jesús Sellés, thanked the work carried out by the Staff Board, union delegates, and the Internal Organization Department. He highlighted that these regulations aim to improve the recognition of the professional work of municipal employees, as well as their performance and to reward continuous training.
This regulation is the result of two years of dialogue and consensus, with the objective of improving the performance of municipal workers and offering better service to citizens. The new system establishes a model based on performance evaluation, achievement of objectives, and recognition of professional trajectory, to move towards a more agile administration adapted to current needs.
