The Riba-roja de Túria City Council has allocated €140,000 from municipal funds to finance the activities and programs of the municipality's sports clubs and entities for the 2025/2026 season, including recreational and leisure activities.
The regulatory bases establish the requirements for accessing these competitive grants. Entities must be registered in the municipal association registry of Riba-roja de Túria and in the Registry of Sports Entities of the Valencian Community. Additionally, they must conduct regular activities within the municipality or, if not feasible, offer activities to residents, with a minimum of 30 annual sessions and 5 registered participants.
Other requirements include not incurring legal prohibitions, being up-to-date with tax and Social Security obligations, and complying with fiscal obligations to the Riba-roja de Túria City Council.
The evaluation of applications will be based on promoting grassroots sports, considering categories from junior to youth, with attention to athletes registered in Riba-roja de Túria between four and eighteen years old. Gender parity within entities will also be assessed, with scores ranging from 5-10% to 40-50%, along with additional actions to promote it.
The number of registered athletes comprising the club will be considered, including both federated athletes and participants in the Valencian Community Sports Games organized by the Camp de Túria Regional Council. Athletes with a certified disability of 33% or higher will also receive points.
Federation expenses such as registration fees, mutual insurance or medical insurance, and entry fees will be evaluated. The level of competition, the presence of qualified and accredited sports technicians, volunteers, the sports program, the organizational structure, methodology, and the entity's seniority will also be considered.
In addition to these grants, clubs and entities have free access to public facilities, with maintenance costs such as electricity and water borne by the municipality.
