The initiative, which began last Monday, 26, is part of a project co-financed by the Conselleria de Servicios Sociales, Igualdad y Vivienda (Regional Ministry of Social Services, Equality, and Housing). The workshop aims to provide tools and resources that promote their autonomy and strengthen their personal and professional skills from a gender perspective and female empowerment.
During the sessions, key topics such as CV improvement, the use of the internet and social media for job searching, equality in the professional sphere, and self-employment are addressed. The training also includes self-assessment activities and the development of a personalized action plan to guide the search for job opportunities.
The workshop takes place in a shared learning environment that encourages the exchange of experiences, the acquisition of new skills, and the creation of support networks among participants. The activity consists of four sessions, scheduled between late October and early November, in the morning, at the Escuela de Personas Adultas (Adult Education School). In total, there are eight hours of training, including a certificate of completion.
