The event will feature two categories: a 10 km race for adults and children's races. The initiative aims to promote sports and solidarity across all ages, as well as raise funds for cystic fibrosis research.
Cystic fibrosis is a chronic genetic and hereditary disease primarily affecting the lungs and digestive system. Although treatments have improved the quality of life and life expectancy, more resources are needed for research, care, and support for patients and their families.
Interested individuals can participate in various ways: by running in the race (10K or children's), volunteering, spreading the word about the initiative, or raising awareness about the disease.
Registrations are now available through the Cronorunner platform. The fee for the 10K race with a t-shirt is €14, without a t-shirt €7, and children's races cost €1.
The organization is also calling on citizens to volunteer, as their involvement is essential for the smooth running of the race. Those interested in collaborating can join the volunteer WhatsApp group.
The race is supported by the Cystic Fibrosis Association of the Valencian Community, Gilton Producciones, Gent de Foios, and Arco.
