The event, promoted by the L'Eliana City Council in collaboration with Teatreliana, aims to create a space for new perspectives and contemporary scenic languages. The Professional Golden Award went to 'No nos merecemos soñar' by the company Los Teloneros; the Emerging Golden Award to 'El acontecimiento' by La Perra Coja; and the Amateur Golden Award to 'Hamlet' by Apeihron Theatron. These winning works will be showcased at the Auditori de l'Eliana on October 30th and November 1st and 6th.
A professional jury, chaired by María Minaya, and an amateur jury, chaired by Sefa Bernet, evaluated the submissions. The INesperat festival is dedicated to proposals that embrace experimentation in themes, scenic language, or staging, bringing together professional, emerging, and amateur companies on equal terms.
The official presentation of the festival will take place on October 23rd, at 1:00 PM in the Saló de Plens, where the full program will be unveiled. The festival also features the 'INesperat de Platí', an award determined by audience votes.
Mayor Salva Torrent highlighted the strong response to this first call, with 128 submissions from across the country, demonstrating the interest in new platforms for scenic creation. "In L'Eliana, we will continue to champion living, contemporary culture that is open to new languages," he stated.

Other awards include the INesperat “Nous Senders” Award for 46011 by Cia. La Retina, the INesperat “Gosadia Poètica” Award for Au! by Cia. María Andrés, and the INesperat “Fent Pinya” Award for En la luna by Cia. Alpi Teatre.
