The event will take place at 12:00 PM in front of the municipal building. During the gathering, a manifesto will be read, and a minute of silence will be observed in memory of those who have lost their lives at sea while seeking a better future.
The manifesto expresses deep affection, solidarity, and recognition towards the citizens of Ceuta, as well as the professionals and services that have managed the extraordinary situation experienced recently. It calls upon public administrations for a response based on cooperation, coordination, and responsibility, emphasizing that security and human rights are not opposing concepts.
The declaration also voices rejection of any form of violence, aggression, threats, hatred, racism, or xenophobia. It reaffirms the coexistence built over generations by people of diverse cultures, religions, and origins. The text concludes with a strong defense of security, coexistence, solidarity, human rights, dignity, and integration, under the slogan 'L'Eliana with Ceuta'.
