The Benaguasil City Council will receive €59,000 from the Generalitat Valenciana through the 2026 Corresponsables Plan, funding aimed at enhancing family and work life balance.

The Benaguasil City Council has been awarded a grant of €59,000 under the 2026 Corresponsables Plan, an initiative by the Generalitat Valenciana. The plan aims to foster reconciliation between family, work, and educational life, while promoting shared responsibility in caregiving.
The funds, approved in the Generalitat Valenciana's budget for 2026, will primarily support the development of play library services and family activities. These programs will offer childcare and leisure alternatives for children, facilitating work-life balance, particularly during non-school periods.
This new funding represents a significant increase from the previous year, when €42,000 was allocated from the same plan. According to Stephane Soriano, the municipality's Equality Councilor, 'Work-life balance is a priority, which is why we continue to increase resources. Moving from last year's €42,000 to €59,000 signifies a 40% increase by the GVA for this period, allowing us to expand and improve the activities and services we offer to families in Benaguasil'.
The grant covers activities planned between July 2026 and December 2027. With this support, Benaguasil reinforces its commitment to reconciliation, equality, diversity, and shared responsibility, investing in services that directly impact families' daily lives and contribute to their well-being and quality of life.
