The Sagunt a Escena 2026 festival, promoted by the Conselleria de Cultura and the Institut Valencià de Cultura, turns the Roman Theatre into the hub of Mediterranean culture during the month of August.

The 43rd edition of this event will take place between August 1 and August 23, 2026. The main productions at the Roman Theatre are usually scheduled for 10:30 PM, while the Off Romà cycle activities, including street performances, dance, and circus, will begin at 8:00 PM in spaces such as the Glorieta or the Antigua Morería square.
Regarding tickets, prices for shows at the Roman Theatre range between 10 and 16 euros, depending on the area and the performance. Conversely, all performances included in the Off Romà are free of charge. The organization recommends purchasing tickets only through the official festival website or authorized points of sale, such as the Teatro Principal de Valencia box office or the Sagunto City Council.
Access to the venue, located in a protected and pedestrian area, can be made via public transport. The Renfe C-6 line connects Valencia with Sagunto in 30 minutes, followed by a 15 to 20-minute walk to the theatre. If using a private vehicle, it is recommended to park in the designated areas in the lower part of the city, such as the market grounds, and complete the journey on foot.
