During the summer, the City Council carried out more than 40 actions in 34 schools in the municipality, focusing on the repair, maintenance, and adaptation of playgrounds, courts, fences, pillars, and awnings. "This is what the City Council must do, invest so that schools can start the year with total normality," Ruz stated.
Regarding the Príncipe de Asturias institute, the mayor recalled that doubts about enrollment have been resolved, and all students have been able to access their chosen institute. Doubts about the Conservatory of Music have also been cleared up, with repairs to the current building's roof. The Local Government Board will approve this Thursday the tender for the soil tests and the project for the future new Conservatory in Candalix, with a deadline of 5 weeks and a budget of 65,000 euros.
