The new air connection, which will feature two flights each week, aims to strengthen the link between the Valencian Community and Galicia. During the winter season, flights will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays, while in the summer season, they will run on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Volotea anticipates offering over 26,000 seats on this route during its first year of operation, aiming to meet the tourist, family, and business travel demand between the two cities. The airline, which has been operating at Alicante Airport since 2012, has transported over 1.5 million passengers from this infrastructure, considered one of its key bases in the Mediterranean.
This new route to A Coruña adds to Volotea's existing offerings from Alicante, which already include destinations such as Asturias, Bilbao, Bordeaux, Lyon, and Nantes, thereby expanding options for Valencian travelers.
The company highlights its positive operational indicators in Alicante, with an OTP15 punctuality rate of 80% and a flight completion factor of 99.8% year-to-date. Furthermore, according to internal data, nine out of ten passengers recommend Volotea, reflecting a high level of satisfaction.
With this new annual connection, Volotea solidifies its presence in the Valencian Community, providing new flight options for tourism, business, and personal travel.
