Researchers from the Area of Nutrition and Bromatology at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH), Enrique Roche and Néstor Vicente, are collaborating on the scientific advisory for Nutripilot AI, an artificial intelligence algorithm for sports nutrition.

The artificial intelligence algorithm Nutripilot AI, designed to help endurance athletes optimize their supplementation, hydration, and nutritional strategies based on real training data and individual variables, will receive scientific support from the UMH. The project, driven by Bernardo Ordiña, an UMH alumnus, aims to connect academic knowledge with technological development.
Nutripilot AI, a technology start-up founded in Alicante, uses artificial intelligence and a proprietary algorithm to generate personalized sports supplementation plans. The platform analyzes variables such as duration, intensity, route, climate, and the athlete's profile to offer clear, actionable decisions adapted to the real context, without replacing professional judgment.
The collaboration with UMH researchers Enrique Roche and Néstor Vicente reinforces the company's commitment to integrating technology, science, and sport. Roche, a Professor of Nutrition, brings his expertise in nutrigenomics and nutrition applied to health and sport. Vicente, a Doctor of Molecular Biology and a registered dietitian-nutritionist, has a background as a high-performance sports nutritionist, having collaborated with Elche C.F. and advised professional tennis players.

"It is very important for us that Nutripilot AI grows on a solid scientific foundation. We want to provide real solutions to athletes, helping them know what to take, when to take it, and how to adapt their strategy to each training session or competition."
