The Department of Citizen Security has mobilized all police force personnel, including canine units and aerial resources with drones, with a special focus on security at the municipal 'barraca' and other nightlife areas. Councilor Ana Blasco detailed the preparations to safeguard the security of citizens and visitors during all scheduled events.
The night service will consist of a minimum of 21 officers, 12 of whom will be dedicated to operational citizen security response. These officers will be supported by the canine unit and the drone, which will monitor sensitive areas.
During the day, the morning shift will comprise an average of 15 officers daily, while the afternoon shift will have an average of 14 officers per shift. Shifts will involve extended working hours to ensure coverage during peak demand periods, particularly in the afternoon and evening, totaling 38 officers.
In total, it is anticipated that 459 police services and 27 tow truck services will be carried out during the festive period. The Local Police wishes both the residents of Santa Pola and visitors to enjoy the festivities with due prudence to prevent incidents.
