UMH strengthens international cooperation with a delegation from the Turkish Government

The Miguel Hernández University of Elche has hosted a visit from a representative of the Turkish Ministry of National Education to enhance collaborative relations between both institutions.

The goal of this meeting is to explore new avenues for cooperation in higher education, research, and internationalization. The visit was promoted by leaders from the University Research Institute Center for Operations Research and the company Milmoh, which is linked to the UMH Science Park.
During her stay in the city, the delegation held working meetings with the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization and Cooperation to strengthen service and joint efforts. The agenda also included visits to various educational and training entities in the province of Alicante, such as the IES Nit de l'Albà, the Federation of Metal Entrepreneurs of the Province of Alicante (FEMPA), and the Elche City Council.
The Turkish representative has an extensive background in managing international alliances, having served in project coordination and agreement roles at the European level. With this initiative, the UMH reaffirms its commitment to promoting academic exchange and consolidating educational ties between Spain and Turkey.
