The president of the Valencian Generalitat, Juanfran Pérez Llorca, accompanied by the municipal corporation of Crevillent, has announced an investment of 3.1 million euros for the operational launch of the Teatro Chapí. The objective is to adapt the building with necessary elements, such as the curtain, spotlights, sound equipment, and lighting, to comply with current regulations and open its doors as soon as possible.
The mayor of Crevillent, Lourdes Aznar Miralles, highlighted that this investment is part of the Consell's support for various local projects. In addition to the theater, the redelegation and expansion of funding for the CEIP Párroco Francisco Mas with over 1.7 million euros has been approved, and other educational initiatives are underway at schools like CEIP Escoles Noves and CEIP Julio Quesada – Pilar Ruiz.
The Generalitat's commitment to the second Health Center was also affirmed, with land acquisition procedures being finalized. Other ongoing projects include reviewing the route for the ring road project and an investment of one million euros for the Rambla Castelar collector. The renovation of the Municipal Archaeological Museum, with a contribution of 430,000 euros, is also nearing completion.

He emphasized the Generalitat's commitment to administrative simplification to accelerate initiatives in the energy sector, which has seen an increase in installed capacity and self-consumption facilities.

"The problem of the Chapí theater will be resolved by this Government. In these three years that we have been in government, all pending issues are being resolved. If all the investments underway this year in Crevillent are added up, they will exceed 6 million euros."
