During her speech, Aznar emphasized the need for the council to function effectively and for its work to translate into tangible improvements for residents. She highlighted actions aimed at boosting the municipality's growth, enhancing infrastructure and public services, strengthening security, generating employment and economic activity, and advancing in education, culture, tourism, and social matters.
A key focus was urban and industrial development. In 2025, a study began to modify the General Plan, aiming to create new land for housing and industrial activity. Industrially, the Cerámica La Asunción industrial park has been unblocked, and improvements have been made to the I-6 del Boch Industrial Park. Total investment in modernizing industrial parks amounts to approximately 1.4 million euros.
In terms of infrastructure and public spaces, the project for the central single-platform street was drafted, along with renovations to the drinking water network and sanitation systems. Aid for facade rehabilitation (100,000 euros) and work on rural roads were also mentioned. The new Gutiérrez de Cárdenas collector represents an investment of 425,000 euros. Around 250 new parking spaces have been created, and more efficient streetlights installed.
The municipal cemetery has received over 400,000 euros for the renovation of restrooms, niche covers, and drainage improvements. 112 new niches have been created, with plans to tender for another 400. In leisure spaces, the Huerto de Datileros playground was renovated, and sports facilities were enhanced, including a new calisthenics area and improved changing rooms at the "Juanfran Torres" Football City. Future municipal swimming pools are planned.
Security has been bolstered with the consolidation of Local Police positions, renovation of the Police Headquarters, and improved resources. Civil Protection now has a second vehicle. In employment matters, 204 unemployed individuals were hired between 2023 and 2025, with over 1.3 million euros in subsidies for training and employment programs. The Consumption Voucher initiative received a municipal contribution of 150,000 euros in 2025.
Regarding education, culture, and heritage, the Education Department allocates over 155,000 euros annually. Steps have been taken for the Generalitat Valenciana's Edificant Plan, and progress is being made on the museographic project for the Archaeological Museum (900,000 euros). The "Mariano Benlliure" Municipal Museum has been enhanced. The completion of the Chapí Theatre requires an investment nearing three million euros.
In tourism, the brand "Crevillent, a carpet of a thousand colors" was launched at FITUR. Municipal promotion has been strengthened with influencer campaigns. For citizen services, the San Felipe Neri medical center was renovated and expanded (263,000 euros), and initiatives to prevent loneliness are being promoted. Animal welfare measures have also been implemented.
The mayor thanked all involved parties and outlined future objectives: more land for growth, increased employment, improved services and opportunities, care for the elderly, and heritage protection. Aznar concluded by advocating for a close and responsive administration dedicated to building Crevillent through work.
