Applications to participate in this competition can be submitted from July 8 to July 19. The process can be completed in person at the OMAC offices or through the municipal electronic office. The call is open to all minors residing in the Baix Vinalopó region who meet the age requirement before the registration deadline.
The event will take place on September 22 and 23 at the Municipal School of Hospitality facilities. In this edition, the contest will have a maximum of 30 participants, divided into two age groups: 9 to 12 years old and 13 to 16 years old. The selection of applicants will be carried out in strict order of registration, giving preference to those who did not participate in the previous edition.
During the test, each contestant must prepare a recipe in a maximum time of one and a half hours, with the support of a family member. The dishes will be evaluated by a jury made up of local catering professionals, who will take into account aspects such as creativity, organization, flavor, and presentation. The top three finishers in each category will receive cash prizes.
