Coinciding with the visit, it was announced that works for the adaptation and repair of the CEIP Julio Quesada – Pilar Ruiz will soon begin, as part of the Edificant Plan of the Generalitat Valenciana. These actions represent the first interventions of this program in a public Early Childhood and Primary Education school in Crevillent, following the works at the Adult Education Center (C.F.A.) El Puntal.
The intervention at CEIP Julio Quesada – Pilar Ruiz involves an investment of 122,183.94 euros and has an execution period of two and a half months. The project includes the repair of carpentry, improvements to courtyards, access areas, outdoor pavements, and the kitchen, as well as painting various elements of the school, aiming to enhance functionality, accessibility, safety, and comfort.
These improvements are complemented by works carried out with municipal funds last May to enhance safety at the access from Mediterráneo street, facilitating more adequate entry and exit conditions for students and families.
