Alicante hosts a conference on the gastronomic and cultural value of the Muchamiel Tomato

The Miguel Hernández University participates this Wednesday in a round table in Alicante to analyze the agricultural, cultural, and gastronomic importance of the Muchamiel Tomato.

The event will take place at 11:30 AM at the Ámbito Cultural of El Corte Inglés. The session seeks to foster knowledge about this local product and the need to promote its consumption in the local market.
The meeting will feature academic, institutional, and restaurant sector representatives. Participants include members of the Association of Producers and Marketers of the Muchamiel Tomato, as well as municipal authorities from Mutxamel.
After the debate, attendees will be able to taste culinary creations designed specifically for the occasion by restaurants from Mutxamel and Alicante. The tasting will be accompanied by a selection of wines from the Alicante winery BOCOPA.
