The Miguel Hernández University (UMH) of Elche, through its Language Center, has initiated a new edition of the IRIS UMH and LLUMH programs. These two free initiatives are aimed at the university community and the ecosystem of the UMH Science Park, providing online training adapted to different levels.
Participants will have access to an interactive platform, specialized tutoring, weekly support classes, and benefits such as discounts on official certifications and other training offerings from the Language Center. The training will begin tomorrow, October 1st, with access to content for enrolled students.
IRIS UMH focuses on boosting English language training, covering seven levels (from A2 to C2) exclusively with online classes. Students will be able to prepare for official exams from Cambridge English, Oxford English, or ACLES.
Meanwhile, LLUMH promotes the learning and use of Valencian, with online training for levels B1, B2, C1, and C2. The goal is for participants to officially accredit their knowledge through bodies such as CIEACOVA or the Junta Qualificadora de Coneixements en Valencià.
Enrollees in IRIS UMH benefit from subsidized prices on official Cambridge, Oxford, and ACLES exams. Additionally, participants in either program receive a 40% discount on other preparation courses for English, Valencian, and Spanish exams.
The training, platform, materials, and tutoring are free. A refundable deposit of 25 euros is required, which is fully returned upon completing at least 75% of the content for the enrolled level, at the end of each academic year.
With this initiative, the UMH reiterates its commitment to language training, facilitating access to quality resources for the academic, professional, and personal development of its community.
