Spokesperson Inma Mora detailed that the contract aims to define the necessary works for waterproofing the roof of the structure housing the Olympic pool at the Esperanza Lag pavilion. Additionally, minor repairs will be carried out at the La Hoya sports center, which is suffering from water leaks affecting its operation and causing deterioration of the building's structural elements.
The base tender budget for these works amounts to 162,547.33 euros. Interested companies will have 20 calendar days to submit their bids, with an execution period of 6 weeks.
In the same meeting, the contract for the supply and installation of vinyl flooring was awarded to the company INELSA INGENIERIA INFRAESTRUCTURAS, S.L. This project, budgeted at 59,834 euros, will be carried out in 9 classrooms and 2 lobbies across various public schools in Elche, including the Municipal Early Childhood Centers Don Honorio, Don Julio, Don Crispín, and Rosa Fernández, as well as the CEIP Dama d’Elx.
A penalty of reprimand has also been approved for Lot 1 of the contract, concerning "Climatization Installations," within the maintenance service contract for thermal installations in municipal buildings. According to the spokesperson, this measure is due to deficiencies detected in the awarded company, such as the lack of planned annual maintenance tasks, non-compliance with frequencies, insufficient detail in submitted reports, or difficulties in accessing the management software.
Furthermore, the temporary free use agreement for a municipal property located on Avda. Enrique Tierno Galván has been formalized with the Association Artes, Cultura y Ocio. The lease will be for a period of 5 years, with automatic annual renewals up to a maximum of 30 years.
In parallel, the concession of the first floor of a municipal property at c/ Massamagrell nº 4 has been approved to the Association Pro Discapacitados Psíquicos de Alicante (APSA). This concession, for an initial period of 4 years extendable by two-year periods up to a maximum of 75 years, adds to the ground floor already used by the association, expanding their space to over 500 square meters for their activities.
Finally, the Local Government Board has approved several collaboration agreements with business associations. Agreements have been reached with the Association CEEI-ELCHE (Program "Elx Mentor Lab") for 12,000 euros; with the Spanish Association of Footwear Component Companies (AEC) for 12,000 euros; with the Association of Service Companies of Elche and Region (AESEC) for 8,000 euros; and with the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Elche and Region (JOVEMPA-ELCHE) and the Federation of Young Entrepreneurs Associations of the Province of Alicante (JOVEMPA-FEDERACIÓN) for 1,500 euros.
