The course, part of the Digital Divide Training Program of the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FVMP), with the collaboration of the Generalitat Valenciana, runs from September 21st to 25th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Cueva de la Araña Library – Reading Agency in Bicorp.
The main objective of this initiative is to facilitate citizens' access to new technologies and improve their digital skills, with a special focus on everyday tasks that require greater proficiency with mobile devices and the internet.
During the training, participants will practically learn how to download and use applications, configure accounts and passwords, request appointments and perform online tasks, use online banking and make secure online purchases, find information easily on the internet, and incorporate useful digital tools for daily life.
The Bicorp City Council emphasizes the importance of bringing this type of training to rural municipalities, as it helps reduce inequalities in access to and use of new technologies, fostering greater citizen autonomy and facilitating tasks that are increasingly performed digitally.
The training is part of the FVMP's Digital Divide Training Program, aimed at improving the population's digital skills and promoting safe and useful use of new technologies.
The Bicorp City Council thanks the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FVMP) and the Generalitat Valenciana for launching these programs, which bring digital training to municipalities and offer practical tools for citizens to navigate the digital environment more easily.
