The project, which continues the work carried out over the last two years regarding energy poverty, seeks to offer useful knowledge for daily life. Through weekly sessions, participants will be able to learn how to interpret water, electricity, and gas bills, as well as identify variations in daily expenses.
As explained by the Department of Social Welfare, the goal is to provide resources that promote family autonomy. In addition to training in responsible consumption, the program will provide information on bonuses and public aid available to face financial contingencies.

With this new proposal, the Orihuela council reinforces its commitment to social inclusion and the fight against energy poverty, seeking to ensure that families have greater capabilities to gain autonomy in managing their household resources.
