The program will begin on Friday, September 18th, at 8:00 PM at the Ecomuseum, with the theater group Manolita Solano presenting Leyendas y Sucesos, a performance bringing local historical stories and episodes to life. A second showing will take place on September 25th.
On Saturday, September 19th, the free guided tour “Discover the Almoradí You Don't Know” will depart from the Almoradí City Hall. There will be two tours, at 10:00 AM in English and at 11:00 AM in Spanish.
On Saturday, September 26th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, guided visits will be offered to the Museum of the Earthquake, detailing the impact of the 1829 earthquake and its influence on the city's urban layout. On the same day, the Ecomuseum will host a workshop on the ñora and paprika, led by Rafa Birlanga, reviving an activity linked to the agriculture and gastronomy of the Vega Baja region.
The celebration will culminate on Sunday, September 27th, World Tourism Day, with an open house and guided tours of both the Museum of the Earthquake and the Ecomuseum.
The Tourism Department emphasizes that the program aims to highlight local heritage as a tourist resource, combining museum spaces, urban heritage, performing arts, and traditions. The goal is to invite both residents and visitors to discover Almoradí's history and identity.
