The city of Vinaròs is preparing to host a new edition of Vinaròs de Tapa en Tapa, a highly anticipated gastronomic event scheduled from September 11th to 27th. This year, a total of eighteen bars from the town will showcase their finest culinary creations.
According to the Councilor for Tourism, Mercedes García, participating establishments have spent weeks preparing innovative and creative proposals. These dishes will feature the best local produce, aiming to surprise diners.
The list of participating establishments includes names such as Unió Ciclista La Serena, Rafa Bar, Peña Taurina Diego Puerta, La Bodegueta de Sant Vicent, Trattoni, Peña Madridista Vinaròs, Bar Cafeteria Àgora, Nou Albocàsser, Brasserie El Poal, La Picaeta, La ola del mar, Cerveseria 82, El rincón de José y Lola, La cullera del Poal, Mesón Vero, Nou Vilet, Café Vilet, and La Peineta (Candelaria).
Each tapa will be priced at 4 euros and will include a drink, which can be a small beer (quinto), a glass of wine, a soft drink, or water.
García expressed gratitude for the efforts of the eighteen teams representing the establishments, highlighting their crucial role in maintaining Vinaròs's gastronomic appeal throughout the year.
One of the notable features is the return of the Gastronomic Passport, now available at the tourism office. Diners who collect stamps by tasting a minimum of six tapas will act as a popular jury to select the best tapa of the edition. The organization will also raffle two gastronomic experiences for two people among the participants.
The councilor invited residents and visitors from the region and province to visit Vinaròs during September. She emphasized that exploring the city from tapa to tapa is an excellent way to discover the local cuisine and enjoy the surprises each establishment offers.
