The Civil Guard barracks in Ontinyent will receive improvements to its garage thanks to a 22,600 euro grant from the Provincial Council of Valencia.

The garage facilities of the Civil Guard barracks in Ontinyent will undergo repair and improvement thanks to a financial contribution from the Provincial Council of Valencia. Paula Soler, the councilor for Policy for People at Ontinyent City Council, yesterday highlighted the importance of this aid during the celebration of the feast of Our Lady of the Pilar, the patron saint of the corps.
The provincial contribution, amounting to 22,600 euros, comes from a package of direct subsidies approved last April for the city. These grants were promoted by the first vice-president of the Provincial Council, Natàlia Enguix, with the aim of attracting new investments for Ontinyent.
The funded works will include repainting, wall sanitation, and garage waterproofing. Councilor Soler emphasized that this contribution demonstrates institutional support for improving the resources available to the Civil Guard in the town, highlighting inter-administrative collaboration to meet citizens' needs.
