Ontinyent has expanded its cultural and festive offerings for the Moors and Christians 'Semana Grande' with 18 musical events to be held at La Glorieta and the Textile Museum.

The Ontinyent City Council has programmed a total of 18 musical events for the Moors and Christians 'Semana Grande'. The performances will take place in two emblematic city locations: La Glorieta and the Textile Museum. The lineup combines family concerts, top-tier orchestras, mobile discos, and DJ sets, designed for all ages and tastes.
The Councilor for Fairs, Festivals, and Traditions, Àngels Muñoz, highlighted that the aim is for music to be a unifying element of the festivities, offering options for different ages and preferences.
La Glorieta will be a central hub, kicking off activities on Tuesday with La Nit Gran. At 7:30 PM, the musical show ‘Divas Rebeldes’ will take place. Later, at 9:30 PM, the popular dinner will be held, which this year has set a record for registrations with over 450 people, accompanied by music from Lorena and Esteban. At 1:00 AM, the mobile disco La Gran Verbena Discomòbil MKM will offer alternatives for young attendees.
On Wednesday, singer Gisela will present the children's and family show ‘La veu de Disney’, performing famous soundtracks from animated films.
During the central days of the festival, La Glorieta will host more performances: on Thursday, August 20th (Nit de l’Alardo), the mobile disco S.O.S will perform. On Friday, August 21st (Nit de l’Entrada Mora), there will be a concert by the Orquestra Mónaco. On Saturday, August 22nd, the Full Show by Fercho Energy will take place. Finally, on Sunday, August 23rd, the Orquestra Montecarlo will close the programming at La Glorieta.
