This initiative has been carried out thanks to the increase in municipal investment, which has reached 110,000 euros. With this increase, the council has managed to meet all requests in the educational centers chosen as the first option by families, thus facilitating the reconciliation of work and family life during the summer period.
The program, which runs from June 29 to July 31, has a staff of 47 monitors and 5 coordinators to attend to minors between 2 and 16 years old. Activities are carried out in various educational centers in the town, such as the CEIP Martínez Valls, the CEIP Lluís Vives, and the CEIP Bonavista, in addition to the municipal sports center.
The funding for this service combines a municipal contribution with funds received through the Corresponsables Plan, promoted by the Ministry of Equality. This collaboration has allowed for the establishment of different shifts and prices for families, with the aim of making the service more flexible and accessible to all citizens.
