The event, held on August 2nd, gathered local residents and featured performances by the Agullent Dance and Culture Group. The Councillor for Culture and representatives from the group emphasized the importance of preserving traditional Valencian dance before the performances accompanied by dulzaina and tabal.
Subsequently, the mayor of Agullent, Pau Muñoz, and the Councillor for Festivals, Marisol Fernández, officially unveiled the poster, titled 'La nit més gran', by Miguel Ángel Bonilla Sánchez. This initiative, aimed at giving the festivals a unique visual identity, has been established since last year.
Bonilla explained the creative process behind the artwork, inspired by festival elements and the emotions of the community reuniting with its traditions. The artist highlighted his intention to convey shared feelings and a sense of belonging, using symbols such as the hermitage, lanterns, and the crowd.
Councillor for Festivals, Marisol Fernández, stressed that this event enhances the visibility of the festivals beyond the municipality and that its coincidence with the Day of Traditional Valencian Dance reinforces the celebrations' identity. She thanked local artists for their annual contribution to the festivals' imagery.
The event was attended by the festival organizers for Cristo de la Salud 2026, who are finalizing preparations for the festive program, which includes the Nit de les Fogueretes, declared a Festival of Provincial Tourist Interest.
