The event, organized by the school's management, the Parents' Association (AFA), and the Education Department, began with a minute of silence for the victims of the Toledo train accident. Subsequently, representatives of the student body, the AFA president, the school principal, and the Councilor for Education spoke, highlighting the collective effort to overcome the project's challenges.
Mayor Xavi Molina emphasized the project's significance, describing it as "very important, costly, and collective." He noted a public investment of over five million euros for the school's comprehensive modernization, stressing that "only through the collective work of the educational community, the Generalitat, and the City Council had so many difficulties been overcome" during the execution process, which began in 2020 and faced numerous setbacks.
Attendees were able to take guided tours in groups of the new facilities. Improvements include the creation of new common areas in the primary building, such as a multipurpose room, music and computer classrooms, an elevator, and a walkway. The kindergarten and dining hall classrooms have also been renovated, and a covered sports area has been added.
