The Agullent City Council has completed the implementation of a comprehensive strategy for regulatory compliance, transparency, and public communication, renovating its digital citizen service channels. The council has structured an agile and transparent public information system so that residents can access details on economic resource management, local regulations, public procurement, and municipal services through a simple digital environment.
During the project, a prior audit was conducted, and the active publicity content has been updated according to regional and state legislation. Key achievements include the redesign and functional expansion of the transparency portal, connected to the electronic headquarters, the adaptation of informative texts to clear and inclusive language, and the implementation of a new internal work protocol to ensure the permanent updating of public information.
With these results, Agullent reaffirms its commitment to good governance and accountability, offering a channel that fosters institutional trust and informed participation. The project was made possible by a grant from the Generalitat Valenciana, through the Conselleria de Justicia, Transparencia y Participación, and the Provincial Council of Valencia, aimed at municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants. The City Council received 2,500 euros for the transparency portal update and 3,500 euros for other actions.
