To mark the 700th anniversary of the Carròs family, the La Font d'en Carròs City Council has promoted the creation of three iron sculptures. These artworks represent knights from the era of the aforementioned family.
Two of these sculptural elements are now installed at the roundabout providing access to the town from the neighboring municipalities of Beniarjó and Rafelcofer. The third sculptural monument is located in the area of the wall, which historically constituted the old access to the town center.
The creation of these sculptures was made possible through the participation of students from IES Joan Fuster in Bellreguard, under the supervision and coordination of professor Juanma Ramírez. A total of 10 students, including Brahim and Milana, have been part of this artistic project.
The choice of locations for the sculptures holds special significance, as they aim to evoke both the current access to the municipality and the historical access through the wall area. In this way, a symbolic link is intended between the present of La Font d'en Carròs and its origins.
This initiative not only highlights local history and heritage but also integrates art and student collaboration into the town's urban landscape, enriching its cultural identity.
