The concert by Mara Aranda, scheduled for next Monday, August 10th, as part of the International Festival Sete Sóis Sete Luas, has been relocated from the hermitage of Sant Llorenç to the Llac de la Goleta park, on the beach of Tavernes de la Valldigna. The decision was made for safety reasons due to the risk of forest fires in the mountain area.
The performance, which also changes time and will take place at 10:30 PM, aims to encourage residents and tourists to attend and celebrate the Feast of Sant Llorenç. Mara Aranda, a singer-songwriter from the Ribera region, is celebrating 35 years of her career with a show that revives the roots of medieval female troubadours, under the slogan «The ancient voice of the Mediterranean».
This change is part of a precautionary measure that already affected the town this year, forcing the cancellation of its traditional Porrat de la Sang at Clot de la Font due to a red alert in July, which also impacted the festival's opening performance.
